- Government-directed health and safety guidelines and priorities

This also includes medical emergencies like falls, head injuries, serious burns, uncontrolled bleeding, sudden or ongoing chest pain, breathing difficulties, or a significantly altered level of consciousness.
- Report serious crimes that are happening or have just taken place, including sexual assault, robbery, physical altercations, break-ins (especially if a suspect is still present), or suspected impaired driving. When in doubt, err on the side of caution and inform someone immediately, such as a coworker or supervisor, or contact 911.
- Addiction, overdose prevention, and harm-reduction supports
